Delete your RANKT data

You can request deletion of your RANKT account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and covers everything we store about you: your profile, your Instagram connection and access token, cached Instagram data, your scores, and your missions.

Option 1 — Delete your account inside the app

This is the fastest way, and it is immediate. In the RANKT app, go to Profile → Account → Delete account, then type the confirmation word to confirm. Your account and all associated data are deleted right away. There is no waiting period and no review step.

Option 2 — Email us

If you no longer have access to the app, send an email to info@ranktapp.com from the email address associated with your RANKT account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will delete your account and all associated data, and confirm by reply within 30 days (usually much sooner).

Option 3 — Remove RANKT from your Instagram settings

Separately, you can revoke RANKT’s access to your Instagram data at any time: in the Instagram app, go to Settings → Website permissions (or “Apps and websites”) → find RANKT → Remove. This stops any further access to your Instagram data, but it does not delete the data we already store. To delete that too, use Option 1 or Option 2.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes everything we hold for it: your profile, your Instagram connection and the data we read through it, your CreatorScore and its weekly history, your weekly missions, and the push notification data described in the privacy policy: the push token for every device you signed in on, your notification preference, and the weekly notification records. Removing RANKT from your Instagram settings stops further access but does not delete any of this; only Option 1 or Option 2 does.
